My prints come from an analogic photographic process: the photos have been taken on film and then developed by myself. The prints will have thus a ratio of 1:1, 6:7 or 3:2, usually according to the format of the film used (1:1 for 6x6 120 film, 6:7 for 6x7 120 film, 3:2 for 35mm film).

Specifications about the camera and film used are shown in the description of every photo.

My prints are printed on Canson Infinity Rag Photographique fine art paper.

This paper has a balanced weight (210 gsm) and it's a 100% cotton museum grade white fine art and photo paper. The exceptional smooth white tone is achieved during manufacturing by introducing natural minerals to the process, while its composition is acid free and without OBA. It has been developed to address the need for continued longevity requirements in the Fine Art market, since it meets the requirements of ISO 9706 about museum quality papers.

This paper offers a unique extra smooth surface with a sensual feel, and a matt finish. It also provides one of the highest achievable Dmax currently available on the market, making it ideal for fine art photography.

The printing process is made according to the Epson Digigraphie® specifications, with UltraChrome inks and certified paper, for a guaranteed tested durability from 60 to 100 years and beyond. Your print will come with  an additional embossed certification as a proof of the whole process.

(⋆ʟ) Limited editions should be printed using the same type of paper, but in its heavier version (310 gsm). Please refer to the description of the single photo for the specifications.

Size and other specifications

Currently you're able to choose among 3 different print sizes, that will vary according to the format of the photograph (1:1 or 3:2). Limited editions usually have only one available size.

Every print will come with a white border of 1-2cm, hand signed using Pigma ink suitable for archival, and with a certificate of fine-art printing. Limited editions should have also a certificate of authenticity.

  • Small (standard size with all details) – 20x20cm, 21x18cm or 24x18cm

This is the smaller and the more economic option. It's perfect for having a smaller print with still all details of the photo visible, allowing you to appreciate it at every distance.

  • Medium (the favourite option) – 30x30cm, 28x24cm or 30x20cm

This size is perfect for viewing the photo up close without having to stand too far from it. When framed and hanged, this photo fits nicely among other photos on a wall.

  • Large (the bigger the better) – 40x40cm, 35x30cm or 36x24cm

This is the largest size I offer. This size is suitable for framing and hanging on a wall, and it still allows for an intimate viewing distance with plenty of details and shades. This size is also still easy to hold in your hands for close up viewing.

(⋆ʟ) Limited editions usually come in only one size available. Moreover, limited editions will have the Hahnemühle Certificate of Authenticity: each certificate is made of premium deckle edged mould made paper with a Hahnemühle watermark and fluorescent security fibres with a serialized numbered hologram added on it; a second, identically numbered hologram will then be applied to the reverse side of the artwork. The photo should finally be added on the myArtRegistry website.
